MPower: FlexiRamp

The FlexiRamp™ conversion is unique in that the floor pan is made using resin transfer molded fiberglass, a process commonly used in the construction of high-end sail boats and airplanes. The resulting structure combines high strength and light weight with a very repeatable, “OEM-like” fit and finish. Further, the FlexiRamp™ conversion does not alter the suspension leaving the vehicle’s ride and handling unchanged from the OEM.


TriMode™ Ramp	FlexiCurve™ Floor
The Tri-Mode™ Ramp can be deployed to enable the loading of a wheelchair, stowed vertically to enable the transportation of a wheelchair, or stowed flat to accept cargo.	A simple, convex curved floor over the rear axle, the FlexiCurve™ floor enables a range of seating angles allowing the wheelchair passenger a more comfortable seating position and a more pleasant riding experience.

	Crash Tested:
	To ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards of the replacement fuel tank, a FlexiRamp™ equipped, Ford Transit Connect was crash tested (Front, Side and Rear).

		Pull Tested:
		To ensure compliance with applicable U.S. Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards of the TriMode™ Middle Seat and the optional, Flip-N-Fold™ Rear Seat, static pull tests were performed using a FlexiRamp™ equipped, Ford Transit Connect body shell.
